awesomeeee! and i loved the fact that our clarinet quintet is so damn popular HAHAH!

mm went for contemp service then shopped/ate at city square mall with annette, johanna, rebekah, priscilla and lindee. the sunflower shop is so nice! anw we like covered all the floors from level4 all the way to b2! haha. then went into poh kim dvd shop and started swooning over all the dramas HAHAH. I HAVE FOUND FELLOW DRAMA CRAZY PEOPLE!!!!! like johanna. lindee only watches her cruel temptation!!! and introduced rebekah some nice dramas to watch like the legend and beethoven virus :) and you're beautiful of course. HAHA. then met shereen after awhile, went back to church at four. choir prac started at ard 445, had a light snack.

my family was LATE. booh. my brother took some pictures but he hasnt uploaded them. :(

ate at a javanese restaurant and we sat at the open air table. not bad eh the food! love the tahu telor and the chendol and the lime juice! and the ayam penyet! and the bakdo! technically everything we ate for dinner heh.

shopped around then train-ed home. i tweeted so much ytd lah :( but it didnt get registered. BOOOOOH.

had so much fun on sunday.

its november already! :O gosh.

extended studies have been pretty blah cos of the moving around and the blockage of some areas which means we have to take a detour just to get to the studio/avt/comp labs. and if its bad enough that our lives are concentrated on these three places, i feel like i have no life after extended everyday. either i fall asleep, or i er, fall asleep. okay either way, i'll fall asleep automatically. sigh.

extended can be quite fun sometimes.

like yesterday and today, linhui mary wrote me something in jap, which meant something like good morning or smth like that, and cos i didnt understand and my zero jap vocab + low korean vocab meant that i had to reply in english or chinese. well i wasnt gna admit defeat like that!!!! so i took out my made-in-korea highlighters and copied some stuff from the back on to the paper. HAHAHHA AND MARY REALLY THOUGHT THAT I HAD A SUPER HIGH KOREAN VOCAB!!!! when i finally told her she was dumbstrucked. hahah and today i decided to use the jap words on my marker pens to reply her.

it is saddening to know that our classroom wont be our classroom anymore :(

now we have to climb to the fourth floor for lessons next year :(

anw we had operation clean-up today and i cleaned the windows, some tables and the top of the metal cupboard with lishan and angela. OMG I TELL YOU THE CUPBOARD IS PWEEESH. its like a duststorm happened there. i felt so uber short because i had to stand on two chairs just to reach the top, while the others could settle for one chair. bleah.

had physics spa after that. and that ni zheng zhong angelaalalla was so high i dont know what happened to her cos she kept playing with the pendulum bob and the weights and singing some weird song. FREAKY.

home, then watched 12 Lotus. Aiyah, sad lah.

i cant stop harping about it cos its really cool and of my twelve years being a pianist this is the first time i actually PLAYED on it!!

ive half a mind to switch completely to wordpress. i guess it is more widget friendly and theres an ease of use element involved. besides, i guess i have to grow up and change my url sooner or later. (even though i just changed it last year).

but i love this skin! i created it and well. okay not 100% from scratch but wallpaper, picture, boxes, font, colour all original. and the links too.

ive taken to reading fashionation.wordpress.com cos i think the way they write is really cool and casual. so that will be more or less a resident inclusion into my list of websites to read whenever i go online. well presently theres only one, and its dramabeans.com and i really hope the drama You're Beautiful gets aired in SG on free to air tv cos its so extremely blah when they show majority of the dramas that i want to watch in SG, but on cable. I cant believe Jang Geun Suk (Beethoven Virus) dyed his hair shellac AND he looks a world of a difference compared to BV.

i am so glad theres this auto draft save thing here.

back to reality, four more papers: the math papers, chem and physics. i shall chiong amath, tomorrow and some chem so i can watch BOF at night. sounds like a good plan to me.

because i feel like it, heres a food find of the weeeek.

if theres something comparable to katong laksa, its Sungei Road Laksa!

Sungei Road Laksa! plus teh bing.

Great taste, only i felt that the noodles were a little overcooked cos they were a little soft. but overall its good, with tasty gravy and munchy fishcakes. As usual, i ordered laksa no tau gay no hum like how i do for katong laksa (the bowl in the picture was not my bowl as seen from the many tau gay and hum there), and it was ready in a couple of minutes served with a scoop of chilli and laksa leaves (which i found out that it is also called vietnamese coriander).

wash it down with the teh bing which was not too bad, not too watery.

next we tried the Mackerel Otah, and at $1 a piece it was huge. like a slab. not very spicy, a little watery but chunky.

and this was my lunch after church today :)

conversational tamil, not written! i can sing a full song in tamil, greet people, say thank you, say stuff like you are stupid (only to renuga because she always says ni bi zui ni se lang ni bian tai to me) and i am smart im not stupid and many many other phrases/sentences. i am so proud of myself!!!!!

relieved its over. anw, as always, i played shuen wen's alto sax today! and i IMPROVED. HAH HAH HAH. now that i have more air i sound better. than last year! i have two songs to my name, mary had a little lamb and ke ren lai. ey not bad already. shuen wen didnt even teach me the fingering! i was using the clarinet one and some sound came out so i used it :D

this is so overdue but,
PERFORMING @ESPLANADE WAS SO COOL :)

i must comment on how awed we were when we first saw the ceiling of the concert hall. and the pipe organ too! omg its so high and cool and super!

and the toilet at the esplanade mall which is the-regular-one-you-go-to-when-you-go-to-the-library is so lame and tiny compared to the one at the concert theatre. the latter was so cool and big! with two stupid paper dispensers that drove me crazy, and all others present there.

Its been a joy performing at the esplanade.

My alto served me well, i'll be moving on soon. :(

Valentina Lisitsa is such an awesome pianist.

ive never seen such a brilliant pianist, like as if Liszt and Chopin wrote their etudes just for her to play. The music is literally just flowing out of her. And when i saw her performing La Campanella, speechless.

i didnt like her version of the revolutionary etude though. still prefer horowitz.

as a mentor i feel so old during the camp. and after the camp, i have learnt that:

before geog today was hilarious cos jodi was doing some weird action with her pencil case dog making sounds like 'picchu picchu' and she started knocking her dog on me and lishan's shoulders and when she did it to eelyn, eelyn whacked it off the building HAHAHAHHA

so they went to retrieve the dog at the second level while i carried eelyn's stuff it was really funny and lishan started laughing and laughing esp during recess until she was energy-less!

then before bio we were in class and lishan and i asked renuga to create twitter with the user blubb3rman and i wrote some publicity for her on the board which was really funny and she did create one HAHA

and i started having my laughing fits during bio and physics lab esp during physics cos i cut out B.O.B and drew his eyes and mouth on the paper and i gave renuga, no i mean blubberman, the outline

i found B.O.B's cg and pity i couldnt staple the side with the face :(

and for band huijia was really funny and so was the grat and conwoman

today was bb sunday.
sat behind all the bb people today with the usual people. i was practising oral before service and lindee kept laughing! not funny lor. i think i spoke really loudly cos people actually turned back. whoops.

woke up at 5 yesterday to meet tracy emmy and rouhui at tampines macs for meeting.

was so tired the entire day.

reached dunman sec at about 8.30 and then we went to eat some stuff. the beehoon was so nice! then the presentations started. it was really interesting to see other schools present. had like jitters before our turn but it soon went away. our q and a session was so damn long! but it was alright.

during the break sheryl and i ate somemore beehoon and then we changed to half u at the toilet. their toilet is so clean! after that we train-ed to school and managed to reach on time!

i was really really sleepy even huijia said i looked like i was going to sleep any moment. AND i kept hitting/whacking everyone in a 1m radius around me. its either my bell hit someone's stomach, or the stand hit someone or my elbow hit them.

im sorry everyone.

today was really funny cos lishan's dad's car had a small cockroach in it and we couldnt find it so we were all sitting against the door haha!

orientation was great! and so was class party i think we bonded quite a bit. AND i totally forgot i was the 'royal' photographer for class party cos the games were so fun. sorry no pictures. HEH.

exchange with nakamura yesterday!

and with 6 other schools :D

we were split into our different sections, then further split into first and seconds, thirds and bass. so i was in the thirds and bass group. there were no alto players so i went with the bass people. they taught us quite a bit and yes the overblowing part! one fingering can produce three notes. which is so cool.

huijia and i talked to aya, shes so cute hahah!

their concerts, both the one in school and at vch were awesome! it was extremely inspiring! and they can lift their bass clarinets like omg 180 degrees. WITHOUT a strap. that was in school. they had the strap at vch. omg anyway their gimmicks are really really cool!

they gave us japanese gummies and sweets, really really nice and delicious and i got a hair tie from them too!

i miss aya and mami and all the clarinetists!

i hope to see them again sooon

singapore vs vietnam was stupid.

anyway. today for lifegroup there was only queenie and i so we joined with jolyn's group. was quite fun, we made christmas cards for God. and there was food! and someone said it was like a kindergarten party. i think it was zi ken. it really felt like a kindergarten party though. heh. thanks lincoln for the card! pity we couldnt play spades :(

tuesday was our batch outing! to escape and ehub. met melrize and her friends at downtown east! im glad we had fun and yeah i totally ENJOYED the ferris wheel which according to faizah was our warmup. riiiight. we went on the spinner twice! so fun. went to ehub for awhile after that, bus-ed back with sarah ain filzah and xinying.

i got my alto back yesterday. i cant believe i have to run over to the thirds in between the pieces. thats so embarrassing okay.

today. went to school to make the card, did english homework at section area, then left at 9 for dental. i extracted half a tooth! i officially have 11 injections so far for my teeth.

went back to school and got some coloured paper from the den. met sarah and the rest at the pond. thanks to my gauze i sounded like some twerp. and sarah's atlas is so cool! lunched at singpost and train-ed back.

i have so many pending essays to write. ugh. ian's in ubin and lindee's in korea! ahh.
